The typical division of roles is for makers to deliver goods to retailers, which then sell them, but the Harizly Group has pursued a "D2C" business model, in which they deliver the products they have made themselves, and places importance on the "wealth of makers."
This philosophy is also shared by TSUCHI-YA, a glass specialty store founded in 2022. TSUCHI-YA is supported by over 60 artists, and its two stores in Kappabashi, Asakusa, and Ginza, Tokyo, are both sales locations and unique galleries.
