Leather goods brand "TSUCHIYA KABAN" will launch "JAPANMOTIF Nami," the latest addition to its "JAPANMOTIF" series—a collection inspired by and reimagining traditional Japanese shapes and culture—on Thursday, June 11, 2026.
Marking the brand's first foray into "washable bags," the collection features two models: a tote bag and a sacoche. The designs incorporate an original ripple pattern inspired by classic Japanese motifs, embossed onto Toray Industries' washable high-end synthetic leather, "Ultrasuede® TS." The delicate pattern, which appears to shimmer with the shifting light, combined with a supple texture, brings a quiet rhythm to any ensemble.
Both items will be available at 14 "TSUCHIYA KABAN" stores nationwide and via the company's official online store.
