Tsuchiya Kaban, founded in 1965, is launching a "Schoolbag Voucher" as a hometown tax (furusato nozei) return gift for Adachi Ward, Tokyo, the place where the company was founded and where its workshop is located.
Furusato nozei allows you to support your hometown or a region you care about. To support the inheritance of Japanese craftsmanship and the development of artisans who carry it on, we have successfully registered this voucher as a return gift for Adachi Ward, Tokyo, our founding place and the current home of our Tokyo workshop.
The "Schoolbag Voucher" can be used as payment at eligible stores when ordering schoolbags from Tsuchiya Kaban’s brands: "Tsuchiya Kaban’s Schoolbag," "depsoa," and "grirose."
This voucher will be available on hometown tax portal sites starting Monday, July 13, 2026.
