Founded in 1965, Tsuchiya Kaban Manufacturing will open the "Tokyo Kobo" (Adachi Ward, Tokyo) in July 2026, a new manufacturing facility with approximately twice the total floor area of its current main production base, the Nishiarai Kobo, as part of an investment to further strengthen its production system and build a foundation for next-generation craftsmanship.
In conjunction with this, the Nishiarai Kobo in Adachi Ward and the Saku Kobo in Nagano Prefecture will close at the end of June 2026, and their functions will be consolidated and evolved into the Tokyo Kobo. Additionally, the headquarters will be relocated to Chuo Ward, Tokyo, where the Nihonbashi office is located.
